  • Practice/Clinic Features and Amenities
  • Operating Hours
  • The names of optometrists and/or other staff
  • Links to their Social Media Accounts
  • The names of groups, association, communities that they are affiliated to (for example, Optipro, ADOA, Provision)
  • Description, Brief History, and other background information about their practice
  • Patients’ Personal Data
  • Patients’ Rx Records
  • Patients’ Transactions with the Practice
  • Patients’ Private Health Insurance and Reimbursement Details
  • Username (that the business created upon becoming a customer)
  • Password (that the business created upon becoming a customer)

The above-mentioned information will be available within the Ocelot+ profile of that practice, as provided by them during account application or creation. This information will also help identify the features that will be accessible to that particular practice only.

Ocelot+ receives payments from its users online and to process payment, the following information will be required by our payment gateway tool, NAB Transact:

  • Email address
  • Name that appears on the card
  • Credit card type
  • Credit card number
  • Month and year of card expiry
  • CVC Code
  • Billing Address

OUR DATA COLLECTION PROCESS

Channels where we may collect information include any but are not limited to the following:

  • Sign-up forms in order to sign up as an Ocelot+ customer

We only collect and store data that have been provided to us with consent by individuals and practices, that is why understanding our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service is a must for our customers.

Meanwhile, information regarding the usage of the website is being collected automatically by accessing the website, regardless of the device.

MANAGEMENT OF DATA

Your information will be maintained and stored in servers maintained in Australia. All of our employees who have access to your data adheres to a non-disclosure agreement with the company.

Your information may at times be accessed, transferred, and/or maintained on computers that are outside Australia where the data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

RETENTION OF DATA

We retain your information in our system for a period of 12 months after plan deactivation or when the payment for your subscription has failed. After this period, we delete all of your data from all of our servers.

UPDATING PERSONAL DATA AND OTHER PRACTICE-RELATED INFORMATION

Users of Ocelot+ can update their information anytime by logging on to their accounts. Major changes may incur additional fees.

LOGIN INFORMATION PROTECTION

Practices should treat their login information with the utmost confidentiality. It should be shared to trusted personnel only.

Should you need to retrieve your password or username, you will need to undergo a verification process to confirm your ownership on the account.

PRACTICE PROFILE AND INFORMATION DELETION

We will only delete your information from our database through a written consent sent to support@ocelotplus.com.au.

For any other information previously shared to other parties, Ocelot+ will not be responsible for the deletion of such information. You may need to get in touch with them directly to request deletion from their database.
