All patient data is stored in Australian data centres, subject to Australian law and the Australian Privacy Act. We do not store or process data offshore.

Ocelot Plus is wholly owned by Australian shareholders. There is no offshore parent company, no foreign holding entity, and no external investor with controlling interest outside Australia. Our support team includes qualified optometrists and dispensers who understand the business from the perspective of a practice owner, clinician and dispenser.

We handle the data migration at no cost and do our best to transfer your records, appointments, recalls, clinical history and inventory as seamlessly as possible. Migration scope depends on what your current provider allows for data export — we'll assess this together during the initial conversation and be upfront about what's achievable.

Your data is always exportable. If you decide to leave, your records leave with you in a standard format. No lock-in clauses, no exit fees, no held-hostage moments.

Yes. Ocelot Plus is designed to comply with the Australian Privacy Act and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Role-based access, full audit logging, and Australian-only hosting are built in from day one.
